May the 4th inspired our weekly topic of May the force be with you. Our young people had a wonderful time exploring this topic, especially as it was the perfect excuse to head on over to the National Space Centre.
We want to share some of the fun we had with you, so we hope you enjoy these photos. We certainly felt the force as we learned so much about space and exploration. If you haven’t visited The National Space Centre, we can highly recommend it.

Our young people discovered galleries packed full of space suits, satellites, meteorites and even rockets! We all learned about what our astronauts wear in space. The clothing worn for day-to-day living is so different to what they wear while working.
It was so interesting to see how and where they live and work up in space. You can even walk around the Columbus Module from the International Space Station as they have a mock-up of it at the centre.
Celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee
We have some exciting plans for the Queens Platinum Jubilee. On June 9, 2022, we’ll be enjoying the celebrations with afternoon tea and a garden party here at the school. We are hoping for plenty of sunshine that day.
Keep up to date with all our activities and news on Facebook and Twitter. We’d love to see you there and learn about how you plan to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.
